Cellpoint Corporation announced it will open a new facility in Shenzhen in the Guangdong Province, China by May 1, 2016. The branch office will expand Cellpoint’s presence in the market in accordance with its expansion strategy. Cellpoint has been active in China since 2007.
The new branch is the second Cellpoint office in China, the first opened in Hong Kong is 2015. These two offices represent Cellpoint’s continued effort to partner and support its clients in expanding their business capabilities in North America. When the facility opens, Cellpoint will be servicing clients from a total of four sites.
Mr. Michael Osofsky, the Managing Director of Cellpoint Asia, said, “The Shenzhen office will strengthen Cellpoint’s commitment to supply our customers with quality cellphone products and repair services. We picked Shenzhen to open our new office because it is among the fastest growing cities in Mainland China, is the busiest port in the Pearl River Delta Region, and is considered the “Silicon Valley” of China. It will give us a strong springboard for strengthening our presence in the industry and the North American cellphone repair market and allow us to build our reputation as an industry leader.”
Mr. Minghua Lu, the new Branch Manager further expanded the importance of the placement of the office. He states: “Shenzhen is strategically located in Pearl River Delta Region, where most supply chain companies and facilities of the leading worldwide cellphone manufacturers have significant presence in the area. Shenzhen is also a primary sourcing location city of cellphone parts supply and distribution for reverse logistic industry.”
